The Project Lives.

Thu Jan 22, 2009, 11:58 AM
It really is as simple as that.

The Project Lives.

Step 1. Draw a picture, construct something, write a poem, type up song lyrics. Do something that you want your stranger to see or read.

Step 2. Place your item(s) inside a blank envelope.

Step 3. Label the envelope with the words 'For You' on the front, and the url of The Project Lives on the back. (The url is [link])

Step 4. Leave the envelope in a public area where people will see it, and forget about it.

This is the project.

Submit a picture of the original piece, the envelope, and the location where you left it to ~TheProjectLives also include where in world this envelope was left.

If you find one of these envelopes, send an email to the_project_lives@hotmail.com with a picture of what was inside, where you found it, and if you want, a message.

The project has been created for the sole reason to change a stranger's perspective.

Spread the word about The Project Lives by linking through your journal.

The goal is to have a The Project Lives member in every country in the world.

A man can die, but an idea can not.

Please, if you are interested in the least, do it. Watch ~TheProjectLives, or simply send an email with your pictures to the email adress provided.

No names will ever be posted on pictures, this is an anonymous project.

If you go on Facebook, there is a group dedicated to The Project Lives. [link]

This is an amazing idea. Right now I'm wishing that the people in my town weren't so closed minded. Something like this would just be wasted on them, they shun the out-of-the-ordinary.

Thank you. (:
:/ That must be pretty lame, I'm glad I live in a very open city.

Yes, it sucks when everyone judges at face value alone. I'm thinking that I'll store this away for when I go on vacation or maybe even when I go to University.

Thank you for the fav! I think I am going to make something for the project lives, cool idea.

Oh, I used to do things like this!
Except not with envelopes, just on ordinary objects.
Like, I would write on dollars "You are loved" and things like that so the person who ended up getting it would feel all fluffy inside. c:
I'm gonna do this now.
